Navigation tuturial

Step 1; Change your foreground color to black.
Step 2; Add a new layer.
Step 3; Select the rounded retangle tool.
Step 4; In the options bar click on the fill pixels icon.( the third icon)
Step 5; In the options bar increase the radius to 20.
Step 6; Draw your rounded corner box.
Step 7; Selet the retangular marquee toll.
Step 8; Draw a retangular selection around the bottom 1/4 of your rounded retangular.
Step 9; Press the delete key.
Step 10: Deselect
Step 11; Switch to the gradient tool.
Step 12; Click on thr arrow to bring up the gradient thumbnail.
Step 13; Double click on the left color stop under the editor bar.
Step 14; Choose 40% black. Click ok>
Step 15; Double click on the right color stop. bu this time choose white. Click OK.
Step 16; In the layers palette, turn on " lock transparent Pixels"( its the first icon on the left)
Step 17: Using the gradient you created, draw a gradient from the top of your shape to the bottom. ( use the shift)
Step 18; From your layer styles choose bevel and emboss.
Step 19; For style choose Inner bevel, set the angle to 126, depth to 2 and size to 4. Raise the highlight opacity to 100% . and lower the shadow opacity to 50%.( don't click OK yet.)
Step 20; In he list of styles on the left hand side click on the name outer glow.
Step 21; Set the blend mode to normal, then click on the color swatch, choose 30% . black as your aloow color. Increase the spread to 25%. Click OK.
Step 22; Hold the apple key and in the layers palette \, click the layer that contains the tab.
Step 23; Select.......modify......contract. Enter 5. Click OK.
Step 24: Select the marquee tool. Hold the option key then draw a rectangle starting from the bottom of your current selection to just a little below the top.
Step 25; Add a new layer.
Step 26; Press x. Then option+delete.
Step 27; Deselect
Step 28: filter menu, blur, Gaussian blur. enter 1.5 pixels, Click OK.
Step 29: Lower the opacity to 70%.

Gel Button Tutorial

Step 1:
Add a new layer
Step 2:
Set your foreground color to light blue.
Step 3:
Select the rounded rectangle tool in your options bar set the radius to 40 pixels.

In the options bar.

(fill pixels)
Step 5:
Draw your shape on your stage.
Step 6:
Apple+click on your shape layer.
Step 7:
Add a new layer.
Step 8:
Go under the select menu, under modify, and choose contract.
Enter 20 pixels. Click Ok.
Step 9:
Press the letter ''d'' then the letter ''x'' to set your foreground to white.
Step 10:
Press Option+Delete.
Step 11:
Press Apple+D.
Step 12:
Go under the Filter menu, under Blur, choose Gausian Blur.
When dialog box appears enter 10.
Click OK.
Step 13:
Select the Move tool.
Step 14:
Using the Arrows on the keyboard, move your blurry wite layer down to the bottom of the pill shape.
Step 15:
Hold down the apple key and click on the pill
layer on your layers palette.
Step 16:
Press Shift+Apple+I to inverse your selection.
Step 17:
Press the delete key.
Step 18:
Press Shift+Apple+I.
Step 19:
Create a new layer.
Step 20: Set your foreground color to a darker blue than your original blue.
Step 21:
Fill your selection your selection by pressing Option+Delete.
Step 22:
Deselect by pressing Apple+D
Step 23:
Hold down the apple key and click once on the blurry layer in your layers palette.
( Be sure not to change layers. You should still be on the dark blue pill layer.)
Step 24:
Press Delete to knock a soft hole out of the blue pill shape.
Step 25:
Select the rectangular marquee tool.
Step 26:
Place your mouse inside the selected area and drag the selection upward a little bit.
Tap the delete key.
Step 27:
Repeat step 26 one or two more times until you're almost to the top of the pill (make sure to stop just short of the top)
Step 28:
Deselect by pressing Apple+D.
Step 29:
Apple+Click on your pill layer to put a selection around it.

Create a new layer.

Go under the select menu, under Modify choose contract.
Enter 20 pixels. Click OK.

Press the letter ''d'' then ''x'' to set your foreground to white.

Select the gradient tool.
In the options bar, Click on the down facing arrow next to the gradient thumbnail.
Choose the second gradient (foreground to transparent)

Drag this gradient from the top of your selection to the bottom.

Deselect.

Select the Move tool.
Using the arrows on the keyboard, move your white gradient layer upward to where it's almost at the top,
but leave a gap of dark blue between your white gradient and the top of the pill. (This creates the highlight area of the pill)
Step 37:
Press Apple+T
Step 38:
Go under the Edit menu, under Transform choose Perspective.
Step 39:;
Grab the left bottom corner, and click and drag outward just a bit to add a perspective effect.
Step 40:
Press Enter to let Photoshop know you're done.
Step 41:
Hide your background layer.
Merge Visible.
Step 42:
Choose drop shadow.
In the dialog box, click the color swatch.
Step 43:
Click on a blue section of your pill shape to colorize the shadow.
Step 44:
Lower the Opacity to 50%, set the angle to 90 degrees, distance to 45, size to 32, turn off use Global Light.
Click OK to complete the effect.

Metal Button Tutorial

Step 1: Create a ne layer. Draw a circular selection using the Elliptical Marquee tool.
Step 2: Press "d" then "x". Select the gradient tool.
Step 3: In the options bar, click on the down facing arrow next to the Gradient thumbnail. Choose foreground to Background gradient.
Step 4: Close the picker and in the options bar click on the radial gradient icon ( it's the second icon from left).
Step 5: Drag the white to black gradient from the left center of your selection to about 1/4 past the edge.
Step 6: Press "d". Create new layer.
Step 7: In the gradient picker, choose te foreground to transparent gradient( its the second one from the left, top row.)
Step 8: In the options bar choose linear gradient. Drag the gradient from the top of your selection to the middle to fill the top with black.
Step 9: In the layers palette, lower the opacity to 75%.
step 10: Create a new layer,
Step 11: Go under the select menu, under modify and choose contract, Enter 6 pixels. Click OK.
Step 12: Press "x". Drag from the top of your selection through about 1/3 of your selected area. Press apple+d.
Step 13: Go under the filter menu, under blur and choose Gaussian blur. Enter 3 pixels . Click OK
Step 14z; Duplicate your top layer by dragging it ti your new layer icon
Step 15: Press apple+t. ctrl+click inside the bounding box, then choose rotate 180º from the pop-up menu. Press enter to let photoshop know your done.
Step 16: Select the move tool. Drag this layer straight down almost to the edge.
Step 17: Lower the opacity of this layer to 60%.
Step 18: Go back to layer 3( the layer below your current layer). Press apple+t.
Step 19: Hold shift key, grab the bottom right handle, shrink the white gradient by around 15%. Press enter.
Step 20: Hide the background layer and choose merge visible from the layers palette's pop up menu.
Step 21: Choose drop shadow from the layer style pop-up menu at the bottom of the layers palette. Click OK.
Step 22: Press apple+u. Click the colorize button and move the hue slider to choose color for your button.,

Main Character: The man character is David he is 28.

Title: LAST CHANCE ..

Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit. You only have one chance. David ate the fruit of death and now he shall pay.(sound effect) Have you ever attempt to beat death at its own game. David the attorney had to find out the hard way. It all started when he was on his way to work. he went to the office to check his mail. David, Ms. Paula, the receptionist said, you have a new case. An elderly lady whom is 89 has not paid her mortgage for the past year and is in question on being evicted. "Thank you Paula" said David as he walked out smiling from ear to ear. "I'm going to take everything this women has, she is useless and is taking up space" said David in his head.

When is the women's appointment,said David. Um her appointment will be starting in 5 minutes. "How come I'm receiving this information so late Ms. Paula", said David. I gobbled a cheese bagel and it spilled on my shirt and i had to run home and get a new one. "Ms. Paula just send the old woman in please" David commanded. The elderly woman then entered the room with a reddest ran down nightgown. "Have a seat ma'am" insisted David. Why thank you sir. Your profile states that you haven't paid your mortgage in over a year, you are now 89 years of age and your family suggest that you are put in a nursing home, said David. "Sir no disrespect to my family suggestion and your place of work but I've been living there since I was 8 years of age and I don't want to give it up" said the elderly woman. Ma'am I understand but you aren't financially worthy enough to keep your house, said David. "What do you mean, I've lived her for 81 years", said the elderly women. "Ma'am you are being evicted in a week so I advice you to get in contact with your family and schedule to be put in a nursing home", David said rudely. NO!!!No!!! this is my home.I am very proud person but Mr. David I beg of you. She then begged of her house grabbing on his leg. Security!!! said David. Security!!! Security then grabbed the elderly women. As she got up she said I begged of you and you showed no compassion. She then pointed her finger and said "¡me las pagarás(you'll pay)".


Choice A: David the stuck up mean attorney cries.
"Why did that worthless piece of fling say I shall pay for this!!" said David. "You could have been more compassionate about the situation, you don't give a crap about no one but you self" said Ms. Paula. "Ms. Paula, personally I don't care of your opinion or anyone else opinion" David said rudely. Mean while David continued to do his paper work, he was the only one left in the office from that day. As David continues his work, he attempt to drink his water that was on his desk but he realize it was turning a reddest color."AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!" yelled David. "What the heck is this!!!" said David nervously as his hand started to bleed and his eyes started to cry blood. All of a sudden the elderly women came out the closet. "What are you doing to me" cried David. Why have you put this maledict on me, take it back you horrible excuse for a human" screamed David. The elderly women then spoke, "He rogado a usted y usted mostró molestias. Vas a morir una muerte horrible(I have begged you and you showed inconveniences. You are going to die a horrible death

)" said the elderly women." AAAHHHH" yelled David. He ran up the stairway tracking blood everywhere he went. The elderly women followed him repeating the ritual of death."He rogado a usted y usted mostró molestias. Vas a morir una muerte horrible"." Leave me alone" cried David. He ran to the top of the building and enter the door that lead to the roof top." He rogado a usted y usted mostró molestias. Vas a morir una muerte horrible". SHe followed him to the roof top and ripped his tie. She held it up and said "Esta maldición se ajustará a usted lanzó una generación a otra"(This curse will follow you threw generation to generation). The elderly women then spoke" What ever is coming to you is not just for pleasure in me losing my home but its what you deserve". She then vanished.


A #2: No one believes David
David just sat there, on the roof top, traumatized and didn't believe what he was experiencing. Some neighbors must have heard the noise coming from the building because the cops came running to the roof top. When they got there, the office was a mess and the property was destroyed. The only person that was there was David the attorney. There was no evidence that convinced the detectives there was someone else in there with David. David then told them the whole story as best as he can. " the old lady um made my eyes bleed and spoke different languages, and she um made my water turn to blood and she chased me, she made me cry, she took my tie" said David nervously. The therapist for homicide or criminal situations thought David was in a allusion of his own. The police escorted David home and explained to him he would have to do therapy for 2 to three weeks. David understood and fell fast asleep. David hen awoke because he was hearing funny noises from under his bed." I know your out there you crazy sociopath. Leave me alone" David screamed from the top of his bed. "muerte (death)" went the noise again.The lights started to flick on and off, the TV started coming on and off. " I'm sorry OK!! You can have your stupid house. You deserve it because it's as pathetic as you" screamed David.Then he heard another noise "esta es su última oportunidad( this is your last chance)" went the noise. Everything stopped, the lights stop flicking and so did the TV. Swish went the bed, it flipped David off the bed and into a dark hole. This hole took David back in time. David was puzzled but he realized that his whole day started over.






A#2: The elderly women shows David why the house is so important

" Your in my world now, well the world I did have" said the elderly women sadly. "What are you talking about you psychopath" said David rudely. " Why, Why shall you be so narrow minded about peoples feeling?" screamed the elderly women. Surprisingly David had no answer. He knew he was wrong for what he did to people and how he treated them but no one has ever confronted him. People usually said it behind his back. "HA" laughed the elderly women. "Your nothing but a coward. I wonder how was your childhood that make you act like this?"said the elderly women. Once again, David didn't have a response. "Come on with me boy, where going to take a little trip" said the elderly women. They traveled back in time to when David was 10 years of age. " Mom, I joined this club at school where my class go to a nursing home and we adopt a grandparent. My Grandparent's name is Ms. James. She was born in Alabama and was a famous poet and singer in her times. She has 18 children and 20 grandchildren" said 10 year old David. " No one cares about them old people. They are worthless and they are below everyone because they cant do anything but take up space" said David's Mother, Ms. Johnson. 10 year old David ran into his room and cried himself to sleep. "That hurt you son, didn't it?" said the elderly women compassionately. " David couldn't speak. " You think things don't scar men? They are boys before men" said the elderly women. David cried and finally spoke, " I'm so sorry. I promise I'll get your house back ma'am. She then smiled and spoke, " I believe you and that's why I'm going to give you one more chance. She gave him a lily. The lily dissolved around him and took him back to where it all started, when he was on his way to check his mail.

Mr. Johnson will escort you to your vehicle and you have a pleasant day" said David. As the elderly women left the room, David expressed a pleasant smile and was pleased with what he did. He lived a pleasant life just as the elderly women blessed him with. The elderly women passed away two years later living rent free. She died peacefully in her sleep in the world was great.

Lesson Reflection: Google search

• How will you use the tools you've learned about Google search for your other classes?
• Which tools ( similar words, number ranges, conversions etc.) do you believe you will use the most? Why?
• Which tool do you believe you will use the least? Why?

I will use the tools I learned about Google search for my other classes by using them for the ability of writing an essay. Sometimes I enjoy writing essays with awkward yet intelligent words and one of the tools Muthora Latoya introduce the class to informed us on how to find synonyms for other words. Another way I would use the tools Muthora introduced us to is in the process of research for science fairs. When doing science fairs I like accurate information. So when I try to look up something I wouldn't want predictions or estimations on a problem, I would like to see the answer, its proof, and the importance of it. The tool I believe I would use the most is the taking away one when you can look a word up and subtract what you don't want google to find. It seems much easy to comprehend what I'm looking for. The tool I believe I will use the least is the one that informs you to put quotations around a phrase. I say this because I don't pay to much attention to what famous people say and what they speak on and I don't think we will get assignments that involves someones quote.
